The 2021 Napa Valley “Tandem” Red Label Cabernet is a wine with seductive aromas and flavors of cassis, cinnamon, black and white pepper, baking spices, graham cracker, milk chocolate, and a hint of anise. It is a very classic, elegant wine with great richness, seamless balance, opulent texture with a long lingering finish. The aromas jump out of the glass with a promise of what the flavors will be. The simplest description is classic, seductive, and delicious. This is a wine that is hard to set down. 90% New French Oak for 26 months.
The 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Black Label has warm, wonderful aromas of blackberry compote, chocolate croissant, honey graham cracker, vanilla, leather, and mandarin zest. It is a powerful, savory wine with great richness, velvety texture, and a seductive long finish. The Dalton Vineyard Syrah is a wine of great intensity, rich mouthfeel, and a very long finish. The aromas are hazelnut, boysenberry, clove, and toffee. The flavors coffee candy, hazelnut with some note of raspberry in the finish. Aged in once used French oak barrels for 26 months. Another delicious wine.
Our 2019 Merlot is from the Ghisletta Vineyard in the southern part of the Napa Valley. There are enticing aromas of cinnamon, hazelnut, and cherry cola followed by notes of milk chocolate and graham cracker. There are flavors of cherry, and milk chocolate finishing with soft note of fresh pineapple. This is a lovely seductive wine of great balance, rich full body, with a long lingering finish. The best description of this wine is delicious. The wine was aged in 50% New French Oak and 50% once used for 26 months.
