This is a deep dark wine with aromas of dark chocolate, and vanilla, with floral notes of violets and honey suckle. It is a very rich, concentrated wine with flavors of dark chocolate, cola, graham cracker, and baked berry pie. The wine is seamless, and silky with good acidity and soft, fine grain tannins.
The wine was aged in 60% new French oak and 40% once used French oak for 24 months and in bottle for 16 months

Our 2018 Napa Valley Cabernet is our 10th vintage from the Clark Claudon Vineyard on the Eastern side of Howell Mountain. The wine was aged in 80% New French Oak and 20% once used French Oak for 24 months.This is a rich, powerful wine layered with many aromas and flavors. It has a creamy texture and a long fresh finish. The balance of this wine is exceptional. The aromas are enticing and rich leading to mouthwatering flavors. Mojo +++
There are aromas of cherry, toffee, coffee, fennel, graham cracker and roses.The flavors include black cherry, vanilla, dark chocolate, and orange zest. It is seductive and delicious but also a serious wine with great aging potential.
The 2018 “Tandem” Napa Valley Cabernet from the McKenzie- Mueller Vineyard is a dense vibrant wine with fine grain tannins and a long persistent finish. The wine was aged in 70% New French oak and 30% once used French oak from our favorite coopers. Our Cabernets from McKenzie-Mueller vineyard age very well. Our older vintages are lovely right now.
The 2018 Tandem has aromas of lavender, cinnamon, bramble berry, plum and all spice. There are flavors of plum, currant, toasted coconut, cumquat with a lemon zest finish.

The 2018 Sierra Foothills Syrah is a lush opulent wine with good intensity, great balance, and a long persistent finish with notes of orange zest. The wine was aged in once used French Oak for 24 months. The Dalton Vineyard continues to produce wines that are rich, delicious, and seductive.
It has aromas of cinnamon, cassis, black licorice, coffee candy, clove, and elderflower. The flavors include cherry, plum, cinnamon and orange zest.
